Talking about whales, in Uvita nature’s grand spectacle unfolds across two distinct seasons. From December to April, witness the awe-inspiring migration of northern hemisphere humpback whales as they journey south to the warm Costa Rican waters. Then, from July to November, marvel at the magnificent southern hemisphere humpback whales as they make their way north from the Antarctic. Uvita’s strategic location provides a front-row seat to this breathtaking migration dance, making it almost a year-round haven for whale enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary marine experience.
